You can do it by adding a key and a value to the "maisPropriedades" node in the Configuracoes.xml file. The syntax is as follows:

<maisPropriedades>   
    <item>
        <key>
            <string>KEY_NAME</string>
        </key>
        <value>
            <string>VALUE</string>
        </value>
    </item>
</maisPropriedades>

In order to get the value all you have to is:

var value = Configuracao.GetPropriedade("KEY_NAME");
