Table is not directly related to showwhen.

Hello everyone,

I have a table of Parts, in which each part may be 1 of 3 types (Solar panel; wind turbine; battery). When a user introduces a new part, I would like it to show a field "Power" when type is either solar panel or wind turbine, or show a field "Capacity" when type is battery. To do so, I'm thinking to add a Show when condition in field "Power" of table "Parts", as shown below.

However, when I generate the code, I get the following message.

I'm not sure what is the problem here. Is the condition not properly formulated? What is missing?

Hi,

Most likely you have the formula in the POWER field of the PARTS table that makes use of the TPART table fields.

For this to work, the PARTS table must have the foreign key to the TPART table.
