Sure, but you need to take into consideration the requirements of a ribbon interface. A ribbon is divided hierarchically into tabs then sections then buttons. That means that your menu system needs to have at least these 3 levels before you start adding actionable continuations like lists and forms.

Also, the third level, corresponding to the buttons, needs to have icons set or the ribbon will look ugly using the default images over and over again.

When generating desktop targets activate its usage by checking the corresponding box in the client application properties "Has Ribbon?".

When generating to web targets, use a compatible layout like HorzMenu_WithHeader.
