I have a form (view) that after its closure need to be redirect to a specific menu list (another view). I tried using the sink.redirect property in which a controller action is specified, however it did not work, and after the form closed it still navigated to the previous form.
I would not try to change that behaviour where it "jumps" to the previous form (since its required to preserve business logic), but instead use that main form to trigger automatic redirections conditionally to the needed form, using "state-machine" logic to infer if needs to keep doing it (has already done it or not, or will be jumping to another one). Closing forms would update information regarding current status to the main form.
Hope it helps in your case,
