Invisible field in DB List
When creating a formula to color a field only when it fulfils a specific condition based on another field's value, i wanted that formula to work without the supporting field showing up on the DB List.
In this example i wanted to color the Next Job fields when the remaining days were <7 and this works if the field Remaining is also visible on the DB List.
If i don't add this field into the DB List all the fields will color regardless of the condition applied.
Basically, i wanted all this working before generating... without resorting to the "manual" checkbox in the web application.
In column definition, there is an option if the column is invisible.
If you have been messing with the user settings interface for hiding columns be sure to reset it. You might have left the column visible in your user's personal settings. It is likely overriding what you setup in Genio (as it is supposed to do).
