Genio can re-target the output of any definitions that do not involve manual code to any end technology available.

Each interface parcel is represented by the concept of a Module in Genio. Each solution is represented by the concept of a Client. Each Client can compose multiple Modules in whatever combination you need.

From version 281.01 onwards there is the additional concept of Application in Genio that represents a deployment in a client, the Modules being now defined inside Applications.

In this way you can have for example five Modules in Genio A,B,C,D,E and them compose a Client with 3 Applications like so:

  • Application Intranet with modules A,B targeting Backoffice desktop

  • Application Extranet with modules B,C targeting Qweb with Autologin and Layout X

  • Application Internet with modules D,E targeting Asp.net MVC with user registration and Layout Y
