How to resolve this error: Microsoft.Oledb.4.0 Not Registered
When using a newer version of Genio on old database defitions I get this error Microsoft.Oledb.4.0 Not Registered, this error appears on both MVC and C++
Can you confirm on the cliente machine if the prerequisite setups of the applications generated by Genio are installed?
Another situation that may be occurring is that compiling the application on a processor infrastructure and that is different from the installed library.
In relation to this problem to occur in the MVC, it may be the same as mentioned earlier, but want to run forcibly the 32-bit mode and this will have to be changed in the application pool of the published portal.

When asking help about an error is important to give as many details as possible so that others can try to replicate the problem or at least understand the context where it happens.
Can you say at what stage (opening definitions, generation, compilation, running) that error occurs?
Also, are you sure you don't mean Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 instead of Microsoft.Oledb.4.0. The latter cannot find any reference in any documentation.
