How to create Alert Tags ?
How can I make a Alert Tag in GENIO ? When I make an Alert in GENIO, I need to insert a Alert Tag, which I cannot make for some reason. Whenever I try to insert a new Alert Tag, I cannot insert data into the "Menu List" or "Menu List Columns", which makes me unable to create Alert Tags.
I have never done an Alert before, so I'm sorry if I have missed something crucial.
For context, my idea consists in the following: I have a field that gives a expiration date for a document, with this alert I intend on making a warning using that field and the field for the document's name, corresponding to that date, for whenever a document is about to expire (15 days before the set expiration date), when a user logs on. Ideally, showing a message like this: "The document {document_name} will expire in less than 15 days!".
Could this be an option that I have to activate in my client ? Because I have activated the checkbox for Alerts.
To get the lists to appear it is necessary to give the menu list a name.
Just type a unique name in the identifier:
My suggestion is to create a field in the document that counts the number of days until expiration and then use that field for alerts.
Don't forget that the menu list you will be referencing in the alerts is the document list!
