If you must work with manual code and you're still not using this then I highly recommend it. I've become way more productive and my error rate when changing a lot of manual code has gone down substantially. Not only that, it even has some nice features to check differences, SVN history, and add new manual code entries.
Install it now, it's avaiable for both Visual Studio 2017 and 2019
