Hi, can you check priviledges on folder where genio have been installed? Try to put everyone with full control. Activate the option to "replace all child object permission entries with inheritable permission entries from this object" as well.

i'm having the same problem as Fernando Carvalho. I recently installed Genio 289.07 and it closes after pressing OK as well.

I think the folder was already correctly configured as you can see.

I added the print screen of the GEN folder permissions in my previous answer.

It works with the installation of version 9 of the Microsoft SQL Server Native Client (sqlncli_x64.msi) that found here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24793

For now, there was no need to uninstall previously installed versions of SQL Server Client.
