Usually these files are "left overs", from previous generation, that are still being referenced in the project (.csproj).

You'll have to Clean the project, exit Visual Studio and reload the project solution, then rebuild. It usually works.

If not, to ease the process of deleting specific files/folders that don't belong to the project anymore, you can clean this project folders, and generate the project again:

  1. Controllers

  2. Models

  3. ViewModels

  4. Views

Try to delete the GenioMVC folder of your project, and then generate the code again.
